I just stumbled upon this when looking up how much of my personal information is out there on the web.
Did you know that if you to go whitepages.com and type in your name and city or state you will most likely be listed there...and anyone associated with you? On my profile I found my address, an approximation of my age, my phone number, and previous addresses going back 24 years! I was surprised to find that with one or two clicks later, a stranger could find my home address..
Many of us post our vacation plans on this board and we often know first and last names.
There is a fix. Create an account on whitepages.com and you can edit what is seen by anyone typing in your name and state. I just edited my information and my husbands.
