PSA - Keep an eye on park hours during your trip

Last week Disney moved close at HS out by 30 min.
Today I just saw they moved the close at AK and HS.
Lesson learned, keep your eye on park close from now till the end of the year.
They seem to be ready to expand hours. With last minute changes I wonder if the parks are even less crowded late than they usually are

When I was there in May my granddaughter and I were wandering around HS trying to make our way to TSMM and were semi-lost and the area we were in was empty. Found a couple of cast members and they said that area was closing, but the rest of the park was staying open an extra hour. They pointed us towards TSMM and we rode it 4-5 times (walk-on) only quit b/c my granddaughter banged her head against the "car" on one of the turns and was done.

Anyhow the park was really deserted ...

It common for them to expand hours. Many trips I have gone (and we go twice a year) they have expanded at least one day. I've come to almost expect that random surprise. They usually have sign when you enter the park saying the ours if they have extended them.
