PSA: If you're going to do 5mph UNDER the speed limit...

This is why I like New Hampshire... We don't just have a speed limit, but we also have a speed minimum. So if you're going 75 in a 55 - 65 zone, you get a ticket. If you're going 45 in a 55 - 65 zone, you get a ticket. Driving too slow or constantly slamming on the breaks is just as dangerous as speeding.

that is what many people here in Germany dream of - a minimum speed-law

here you have to drive on the right lane on the Autobahn, even if there is no one in sight - otherwise you can get a ticket (an expensive one!).

If you drive rather fast, you can overtake on the left lanes. Overtaking a car on the right: Ticket!

if you drive too long in the second of three lanes: Ticket! ;)

you need to be very concentrated because you have to break hard when driving for example 115 mp/h and suddenly someone changes the lane between two lorries driving 60 mp/h, getting in front of you.

your traffic is sooo slow...everyone drives slow, that totally stressed us out :lmao:
but compared to our traffic it is well organised

the tickets wouldn't worry me as much as the likely heart attack

My mother thinks it is safer to drive slow in the left hand lane... she also thinks that it is safer to drive two-footed too. I never ride with her...especially in Atlanta traffic as I may have a heart attack.

How has she survived so long driving in Atlanta!?

My dad drives two footed, but it is from his years as a police officer. That in upon itself isn't that bad. Unless you mean she rides her breaks all the time?

She gets in many accidents and then they are always other people's faults. She hits mailboxes and actually got a ticket for "failing to pull over for a police officer". Her defense is everyone hits that mailbox and she couldn't find a good place to pull over since she was unfamiliar with the area. She also relies on GPS all the time. She is 73 and a danger on the roads.

There's a bumper sticker on the back of the car... (paraphrasing) "For safety reasons, this car will not go faster than 65mph".

I can't stand people like this! If you have some stupid agenda on driving no faster than 65 fine, do it in the right lane. Don't force your crap on me. This person is getting out there in the left lane and purposely screwing everything up and causing a dangerous situation for some assaine reason. They probably didn't even have anywhere to go, they just went out to screw everything up and show off their stupid bumper sticker!!!!!! I would have cut this idiot off so bad you couldn't have fit a sheet of paper between our bumpers!.......I feel better now

Speaking of bumper stickers, my favorite is "the closer you get the slower I go."

Of course that's for the idiots that try to make me go 40 or more on a two lane road with a 25 speed limit.
