I just wanted to share my experience from this morning in hopes that it helps others booking in the near future:

Everywhere I had read (here and elsewhere) said that the app was glitchy and to make ADRs through the MDE website on a desktop computer. I had my tabs all set up on TWO different computers and the dates never updated to reflect my full stay (through 60+6), only May 7th (exactly 60 days out). After frustratingly trying different browsers, devices, signing in and out, etc., I tried the app on my phone and voila! I could book through May 13th. I lost 10 minutes trying to figure it out, but I think everything worked out in the end (aside from Space 220, where I could only get half my party in — see below). Apparently there are some other ways to get around this issue that you wise posters know about, but my half-caffeinated 6am brain couldn’t deal with that at the moment!

Moral of the story: go straight to the app if the website doesn’t show all dates, do not pass go, do not collect $200!

In case anyone is interested, here is what we ended up with. Keep in mind that we are a party of 10 for most of our trip so it was more difficult than a “normal” group. We also have four kids ranging in age from 3 to 8 so our preferences are for earlier in the day. They’re not my ideal reservations but I’m still pretty happy with them, especially given my rocky start!

Saturday, May 7th arrival, so Day 60: (no ADR)
60+1: BOG at 10:45am (could only get res for 8 and for 2, will try and combine or at least be near one another)
60+2: Tusker House at 11:20am (again for 8 and 2)
60+3: CRT at 11:20am (for 6 and 4); VIP tour starting afterwards and through fireworks (called right at 9am and was on hold for about 25 minutes before booking without a problem). They made a note to combine the reservations so I’m more hopeful with this one that they are, in fact, able to sit us all together.
60+4: Space 220 at 2:25pm for 5 people. This was the most I could get for any part of the trip; it’s my daughter’s actual birthday and she wants to be an astronaut when she grows up so I really, REALLY wanted to eat here on this day. I’ll keep checking to see if we can add anyone but at least either my husband or I can take our four girls to experience it. Honestly the other adults will probably enjoy better Epcot food elsewhere anyway :D
60+5: Topolino’s Terrace at 12:10pm for 8 people (the other 2 in our party have to leave earlier this day) AND Storybook Dining at AP for 7:05pm for 8 ppl. I didn’t really want these two on the same day, and back to back table service lunch/dinner, but both were high on our priority list (and therefore very popular) so really only had availability late in our trip. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge so it’s easy enough for us to have dinner there anyway.
60+6 (check-out day): ‘Ohana at 11:30am for 8 people; I figured we’d have one more meal together before we headed our separate ways and it would be fun for the kids to see the Polynesian.

Anyway, hope this was helpful! Best of luck to all booking!

Both me and DD were on this morning. Mine kept glitching but she was able to get most everything we wanted. Here is what we got:

May 7 - Arrival Day - 50's PT 5:30
May 8 (60 +1) - Nothing for this day so far.
May 9 (60+2) - Yak & Yeti 1:00
May 10 (60 + 3) Sci Fi 1:15
May 11 (60 +4) - MK Dessert Party - tried to get Topolinos for Breakfast, nothing available.
May 12 (60 + 5) Via Napoli 1:00
May 13 (60+ 6) Ohanas 5:30
May 14 - Leave for Home (Sad...)

Looks like an awesome plan! We’ll “see” you there in 60 days!

We arrive that day as well! Our ADRs area as follows

May 7- Chef Mickey 8:15pm (I'm hoping we can move this earlier so we can get to bed, but it's our favorite way to start our trips)
May 8- Skipper Canteen- figured popular stuff would be hard to get and we have a 2nd MK day.
May 9- Via Napoli was booked as a back up by our Travel agent since Space 220 wasn't available. Will keep trying for Space.
May 10- Sci Fi at 1:30, Ogas at 6:10
May 11- T-Rex at 4:45
May 12- Tusker house 10:10
May 13- BOG 3:45

Overall we're pretty happy with it, just hoping to adjust CM a little and find an opening for Space.

Sounds great! I’ve been seeing Chef Mickeys pop in and out all day (we’re trying to see if we can squeeze that in somewhere too) so hopefully you’ll be able to find an earlier time! And sending you good vibes for space 220!

Can't wait. Hoping for great weather and lower crowds than these spring break crowds!!

Yes absolutely! These latest trip reports and plans have me nervous but I’m hoping the pent-up demand releases slightly by our trip!

DH and I were both online and booking when things opened at 6 am. Here’s what we got (party of two for the week of May 7-14) to celebrate my 50th birthday on May 11.

May 7 (arrival day): Steakhouse 71, 8 pm
May 8: Jungle Skipper Canteen, 6 pm
May 9: SciFi, 11:25 am, and Via Napoli, 8 pm
May 10: Yak & Yeti, 11:30 am, and Olivia’s, 6:15 pm
May 11 (birthday!): Citricos, 6:35 pm
May 12: Il Mulino, 8 pm
May 13: Topolino’s, 10:40 am, Space 220 Lounge, 3 pm, and Beaches and Cream, 8 pm
May 14: departure day, so whatever is free in the Delta Sky Club!

It will be our first time trying Steakhouse 71, Citricos, Il Mulino and Topolino’s. We loved The Wave, so we have high expectations for Steakhouse 71.

We’re intrigued to try Citricos for my birthday. We think the menu looks really appealing. However, I also have a ressie for California Grill that evening - I’ll decide for sure which one to go to in the next week and then cancel the other. We did the celebration dinner at CA Grill in December and enjoyed it. But we’re leaning toward trying something new at Citricos.

Finally, I keep hearing rave reviews of Il Mulino, so as someone who loves Italian food, I’m looking forward to that one. And we’re also excited about brunch at Topolino’s. We’re DVC members and love the Riviera.

All the other choices are old favorites. We’d normally not have three sit-downs in one day (May 13), but we’re just going to get drinks and split an appetizer at Space 220 Lounge.

Glad to have dining reservations done!

Yes, our Epcot day we have lunch at Coral Reef at 12:35, then Space 220 Lounge at 3:00, and La Hacienda at 8:00. My family loves Mexican food, and we have never eaten there. Just drinks and snacks at Space, and I'm really on the fence about Coral Reef, but it's a sentimental must do for our family. We always celebrate a birthday there.

Sounds wonderful! One day we’ll be able to eat at the nice “grown-up” restaurants too :) Happy 50th! You share a birthday with my second oldest, who will be turning 7 :bday:

Happy Birthday to your soon-to-be 7-year-old! And as much as I enjoy our grown-up meals, I also love it when my niece and nephew get to travel with us - so that we can laugh hysterically while asking for ketchup at Whispering Canyon, twirl our napkins at Chef Mickey’s and earn our “clean plate” stickers at 50s Prime Time. Those experiences are priceless when the kiddos are with us. :-)

You’re so right. Trying to soak up these moments with them as they enjoy the Disney magic! And thank you!

This happened to me this morning. The MDE app worked in booking my ADRs. I had trouble with the website on my computer from 5:45am-6am. It was only by 6am, the app allowed me to book ADRs. As of 6:30am, the website is still having technical issues making reservations. Go with the app.

I’m glad you mentioned this. It usually wasn’t this hard to get reservations in the past. We go in early June and our window just opened but I was too slow to get topolinos. I will keep checking early in the am this week and hopefully something will pop up. One question I have is that this ‘60+#’ means that reservations open up each day? Or all at the same time for your stay?
