PS3 vs. Xbox 360

My cousin and I have had some disagreements on which console is better and why. Keep in mind, my cousin is fixing to be 10. He's trying to persuade me that PS3 is the better one because it's more expensive. Which one do you think is the better one and why?

PS3, hands down.

PS3 last longer, and has a better warranty.
More Hardrive Space
More processors which means better gameplay and better graphics.
Online play is free.
The best bluray player,and isn't the most expensive bluray player made.
Games become discounted sooner.
Will connect to all wired or wireless internet (with xbox, you need a wired connection, or a special adapter you plug into a modem, but that does not work all the time.(happened to me.)

I own both, and I say PS3, no question about it.

I own both. I hardly EVER turn on my ps3, only for DVDs/Blu-Rays. The xbox network is much better, even though more expensive. Much more user-friendly and in my opinion has much better games (Gears, Halo, etc.)

I'll have to go with the xbox 360
The online service is better
They have better consle exclusive games(halo gears of war ect)
graphics are amazing
you can go wired or wirless connection(newer consles have built in wifi adapter)
overall just better

exclusive games.... opinion, but i dont car much for those games....
graphics are still better on a PS3
Connection does not work with all modems.....

for once in my life i agree with charliebrown the ps3 graphics are so much better then the X-box ive played the X-box 360 the graphics sucked on mw2 which is what i played on it and a few other games but they still werent as good as the PS3 the PS3 has a Blueray player and its online play is free the connection is better the controllers are a bit simpler my PS3 got screwed up some how i sent it to sony and they gave me a brand new one free no hassle or anything

The PS3 graphics will ONLY be better if the developer specifically makes a game for the PS3 (exclusive.) The PS3 does not have anti aliasing which makes the lines around objects more jagged.

That being said my choice of console is not the XBOX. I prefer the PS3 because one i don't have one (thats how I work...I don't get it either.) Two the online is free. Three Blu-Ray. Four the marketplace is 100% better in my opinion, i hate the way the XBOX marketplace works. Five, this can go along with four but game sharing, which is so cool so you don't have to always pay just get it off your friends account. I know you can license transfer on XBOX but its once every 121 days...so its pointless. Uhm, there is more but i can't think of it.

I've got both (plus a Wii). My sons and I tend to play the Xbox360 more than anything else. Graphics are fabulous (especially on the newer consoles with updated HDMI out), and Xbox Live is a far superior service.

Frankly, I tend to play the Xbox Live games like Magic The Gathering more than anything else ... but the kids love Call of Duty over XBL with their friends.

It's all irrelevant anyway - the new consoles are all headed out starting next year, and I'm sure they'll all put the current iterations to shame.

xbox 360 hands down,
most people think that the ps3 is better just because it can play Blue rays and DVDs.
But really the xbox 360 is way better who cares if the ps3 can play movies, that's what DVD and Blue ray players are for.

mostly for the blu ray player, free online pay (why would you want to pay for online when it could be free) last longer and i personally love the ps3 exlusives (killzone 2,3 little big planet 1,2) IMO killzone is way better than halo.
