PS timed to see fireworks? CG, and Ohanas

I am considering two options:

Calif. Grill timed to see fireworks if fireworks might be at 10 on July 30. Another possibility is to book a PS at CG for afternoon for lunch....sort of during our "break" time from the parks but not too far away. What time if late, would I need to PS in order not to get "kicked out or feel that way" to end the night with fireworks? Is it worth it to see them from there?

Ohana's is the same thing but for July 29th PS. (1) Lunch or (2) dinner and what time have you experienced to be the best in your opinion?

I want to try both restaurants so need to know which time for each.

Well, I can't help a whole lot with the timing situation, but will say that the best place to see the fireworks from either restaurant is outside--on the Deck at CG, or on the beach at the Poly. Unless you have a direct "window" seat, you'll probably find yourself doing what we (and most others) do--that is, getting up from your table, walking outside to see the fireworks, then coming back in to finish your meal. Same goes for Narcoosee's as well--.

I called CRO yesterday and talked with a very helpful CM Judd, who suggested we do just that. He said since it's not a novel idea everyone who eats there at that time wants to eventually see the spectacle in the sky. I booked for 8:45 so we should be finishing dinner and hopefully having dessert while the show goes on. Judd said the fireworks were for 9:30. I'll ask at the podium of course for a window seat but enjoy it if unavailable all the same. Can't wait to eat there.
