Boma - Flavors of Africa is a 270-seat "marketplace" restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge which is open for breakfast and dinner, featuring an exhibit kitchen and bakery that allows guests to walk up to a half-dozen side-by-side cooking stations and have their entres freshly prepared. Read all about it at the Planning Strategy Calculator for Disney Reservations website.

The food is laid out in 7 or 8 "pods" with about 4 or 5 choices per pod.

Thanks for the ino, I'll be eating there a week from tomorrow and am really looking forward to it!

Do you happen to know if the current rotation is the same as the rotation posted here last year and in 2004, or what the rotation will be for september? I'm trying to plan on going on my trip but I would REALLY like to go the night they have the butternut squash soup. Thanks!

tricia.

Oh yeah, I hear ya on that butternut squash soup. It's awesome! I would like to know if anyone has the current menu rotation info as well.

Did you know that Mara sells the butternut squash soup every day? It has always been available whenever I've asked. They also always have chicken pepperpot every day. The third soup rotates daily. Cups are only $2.50.

I love the rich carrot ginger soup usually served only Tuesdays and Fridays in Boma. I can sometimes talk the counter person in Mara into getting me a cup of that as well.

Considering how rich the butternut squash soup is, it is great to enjoy it as a meal (with zebra domes and chocolate mousse crunch for dessert for only $3.59).

Thanks for this link! I was considering trying Boma for a late dinner this time around -- the food sounds really good, and I think the kids would enjoy seeing the animals with the night-vision goggles, if they still do that there.

I would also love to know the current rotation, I am eating here again in September and would love to have an idea what they might have on that day...

thanks
Robert
