Hi,

What PS should I book for May 2004??? I want to try new things! I've been to:

GF's Citrocos & cafe
MGM's Prime time (a must!!!) Hollywood & vine & Brown Derby
Epcot's World Showcase: England, Nine Dragons, & Italy.
Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood & House of Blues.
Crystal Palace (Character lunch, wasn't impressed)

What's the Poly like? CA grill @ Comtemp?? Help! Will be there from the 23rd to the 25th & staying @ BCV for 1st time!! Thanks!!

I'm going to move this to our restaurant board for you, I'll bet the experts there will have some excellent advice for you.

Well, here are my recommendations on places DH and I dined on our last trip in 2001:

Downtown Disney: Wolfgang Puck's westside

EPCOT: Teppanyaki

AK: RFC (I like this one MUCH BETTER than the one in Downtown Disney)

MK: Why don't you try CP for breakfast instead of lunch, for some reason, I've heard better reviews on breakfast

Cosmic Rays~~~it's not a sit down, but counter service instead. And I'm telling you, it's some of the BEST counterservice I've ever had!! :teeth:

MGM: You've already dined at the two places DH and I did, H&V and Hollywood Brown Derby, but my recommendation is to do HBD again!!! That restaurant is a must for me! Grapefruit cake...YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AKL: BOMA (for dinner) Haven't tried breakfast yet, but we are on our next trip.

GF: Grand Floridian Cafe (for breakfast)

Hope this helps. If you have any questions just let me know.

Denise

Denise,

I've done both RFC's!!! Always a must!!! What's HBD @ MGM? I've heard about the grapefruit cake. Where is cosmic Rays? I'm in a wheelchair so do they have low place for me? I want to try the places @ AKL!!! :) Thanks!

I apologize, HBD is the short for HOLLYWOOD BROWN DERBY. Here on the DIS we use A LOT of abbreviations.

Cosmic Rays is in the MK in Tomorrowland across from the Indy Speedway. From what I remember about Cosmic Rays, there is an entrance for those of you in wheelchairs. Disney is very handicapped friendly. (I hope I used the right word)

Hubby and I dined at BOMA and Jiko, but we enjoyed BOMA better. The food was okay at Jiko, but the 35 minute wait just messed everything up for me. I'm a server for a living so my first impression is a lasting one. BOMA is another must for us. We love the African cooking...the flavoring is great and there usually isn't anything I won't try on their buffet. :teeth:

Denise,

How would you get to AKL if you were staying @ Beach Club Villas (DVC)? We will have our van. I have to go see Mickey's Philarmagic so maybe we'll do cosmic rays then!!! HBD was so good!!! I just noticed that you like to go in May. So do we! I'm in college so its the best time. In 2005 though we're going to try for the 2nd week of December. If you'd like to email me: tinkgirl@bellsouth.net Have a great day!

Hey Allison!

Good to hear from you again. Check OUR LAUGHING PLACE to see how to get from the Beach Club Villas to the AKL. I linked you to the Transportation Wizard which is AWESOME!! :teeth: It can show you how to get to everywhere on the resort and the quickest way to do it.

Yes, do Cosmic Rays when you do Mickey's Philarmagic, I promise you won't regret it! ::yes::

I do love visiting Disney in May. That's when DH and I celebrate our anniversary so why not travel then. That's when we do most of our vacationing travelling as have already seen.

I will email you. Here's mine yashuaschild1969@yahoo.com If you have any other questions or just want to say hello, drop me a line anytime, I'm usually online everyday.

Take care,
Denise :wave2:

You have gotten some great suggestions so far! Since you are staying at the BCV, you certainly have some wonderful restaurants right near your front door! If you want a really special meal, how about trying the Flying Fish on the Boardwalk? Also, I would recommend: 'Ohana for dinner (this is fun and the food is great!), Beaches and Cream (for burgers and shakes at the BC), and the Garden Grill (for some fun character interaction and good, family-style food). Have a great trip! Our last trip was in May (5/03) and it was such a fun time to go!

Hi & Thanks,

I have a question: When can I call for PS's for these places. Can I do it now, like tomorrow or is it too early? Thanks!

Denise,

I'll be emailing you soon. I am on everyday as well. :) Thanks for the website!

Go here to the PS CALCULATOR and that will tell you when you can make your priority seating. You will also find numbers of where to call for the PS. Typically it's 407-WDW-DINE, but it varies from one place to another.

Best to you in your planning!

:D

Cinderella's:The dinner was soooooo good.

'Ohana: I'm a picky eater and the waiter convinced me to try pineapple with caramel for dessert and it was the best dessert I had during my last stay at WDW.

Chef Mickey's: Best breakfast I have ever had.
