PS question

I was wondering, if you make a PS for 5 people and only 4 show up, do you still get a table? Or if you make it for 5 people and 6 show up, is it a very big problem?

If you make your PS for 5 and 4 show, yes you will be seated...but if you make it for 5 & 6 show, more than likely you will still be seated, but you may have to wait?????? I have done it both ways... and have always been seated. Depending on the time of year & what place you are eating at, you can get in with no PS's too......
