PS needed for Sci Fi? Is it good?

Should I make a PS for Sci Fi? Is it good food...what do you recommend? Where is it located?

Sci-Fi is located in MGM. If you don't made an ADR, you won't get a seating. I planned a very last minute trip last month. My ADRs were made two weeks before we left. The only reason I was able to get a seating at Sci-Fi is because I agreed to split up my family into separate tables (knowing full well that once we got there they'd seat us all together since it was just me and two kids).

Portions are very large (you'll leave stuffed) and the servers were great. The food is acceptable, but if you go there expecting a meal like you'd get at Le Cellier or Coral Reef you're going to leave disappointed. Many threads at this board are filled with complaints about the food at Sci-Fi. I personally have no complaints about it at all...it just isn't gourmet like some of the other Disney restaurants. The atmosphere of Sci-Fi is great and if you have kids you should probably do it once. It was definitely a fun experience.

We really like Sci-Fi. My kids ask to go her every time. Yes, if you want to eat there you must have an ADR. If not your will likely have to wait at least an hour or more to eat or not get in at all.

My ADR was for 11:10am (right after they opened). They were turning people away at the door telling them that there were no openings at all for the entire day.

The food may not be the best you will ever eat in WDW but the atmosphere more than makes up for it-kids will love it (and big kids too) The milkshakes are fantastic too.

We'll be there in 19 days. I've already made my ADR for Sci-Fi knowing that we wouldn't get in any other way. We're another family that loves it there. For us, it's a tradition! The food is fine, the atmosphere is great!

We also have an ADR for Sci-Fi in July. The burgers and milkshakes are very good.

Yes make an Adr now. The kids loved sitting in the cars, of course they wanted to sit in the front and liked the corney clips of movies. I found that food choices were limited for dinner . Dh got the ribs and they were good. I got the ruben sandwhich which was ok. That was really not my thing but I did not want salmon . Maybe there are more choices on lunch menus. It was a great place just for the experience.
