In the course of planning our first trip:bounce: I read somewhere in one of the six guidebooks I've read (my head is spinning!) that if you have a PS at the Rose & Crown for dinner, every member of your party must order an entree because of so many people seeking good viewing spots for Illuminations. Is that true? Also, I'm planning to make a PS for the California Grill and wondered if that also applied there? I have a dd who is too old for a child's menu and usually orders an appetizer rather than an entree or shares with me, as I have a small appetite as well. Will that be frowned upon? I really don't want her to have to order a $15-$25 meal she won't eat!

Also, will I have a problem getting into the Contemporary parking lot since I'm not a guest there?

We are leaving in 12 days and I haven't made any PS arrangements yet  Am I too late?

First of all, if you have a ps for a restaurant within a disney resort the you are usually allowed up to three hours to have your meal and perhaps do a little shopping.

I cannot really answer your first question but I would think as long as your party are ordering more than a coffee or dessert, thereby spending a bit of money then I would think that it should be ok. I would, however, clarify this with WDW Dining Line before you make a ps.

Hope this helps?

Hello -

You might want to call and get those PS booked now. 407-wdw-dine.

We were able to get some priority seatings last week in the morning for dinner that same night. Didn't work every time, but it helped when our plans changed for the evenings.

Not sure about Rose & Crown...

If you're staying in a WDW resort you will be able to park at Contemporary for dinner. Just tell them you have prioriry seating and you should have no problem. OR, you could do what we do - park over at the Polynesian and take the Monorail over to the Contemporary. That's always fun and it's nice to ride past the parks on the way to dinner.

Happy eating!!:smooth:
