PS in July

Just called and got the Priority Seatings we wanted, at the times we wanted. Didn't seem to be any problems at all. Biergarten, Boma, 50s PT, Artist Point. No need to get up at 6am to call. However, our 16yos princesses aren't interested in seeing their competition for prince handsome, let alone charming. So, no early morning breakfasts for us. They'll role out of bed around the crack of noon.

With the 2008 changes to the DDP, it looks like the restaurants are not going to be near as busy as they usually are. I'm going in May and already had my ADRs booked, but when the announcement came out that AP holders could now buy the DDP, I started thinking about doing the DxDDP, so called to see what was available. I was able to get everything I wanted (including a TS meal everyday for lunch and Signature restaurants almost every night). After thinking about it some more, I decided the DxDDP would be too much food, so called and changed to the regular DDP. With all the 2 Ts restaurants I had booked previously I had to get almost all new ADRs. Surprisingly I was once again able to get everything I asked for and even on the exact days I asked for. I was really shocked. This was for the first week of May though.

Interesting. I'd be curious to know if people are not getting the PS they want for July and August.

I called a few weeks ago for our ADRs for our July trip and was able to get everything we wanted with no problems!

I agree. We have used the DDP for the last 4 trips. We are not using it this summer because of the changes. We'll probably do mostly CS. So we did not make any ADR's this time.

I've learned that if you follow the 180 day rule, there's no problem getting where you want at the time you want (even in June/July) We're doing: Tutto, Sci Fi, Brown Derby, Mama's, Tony's, Ohanas, Biergarten, and AK-RFC last week of June !YUM!
