Would you opt for eating your last breakfast at your hotel (POR) or try to get a character meal in before you go. Our flight leaves at 2:00. Would we be able to make ps for Poly or 1900 GF & make it back in time for the airport?
Has anyone done this..just want to get in as much "magic" as possible! :flower:

I was wondering the same thing but would be eating at the BC... staying at ASMo

IMO, I know I personally, wouldn't because I'd be so nervous I'd never get to the airport on time, that I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself.
I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm just saying you might not be very relaxed doing it.

I say why not as long as you get an early seating, say 8:30. You will finish up no later than 10am and that still leaves you 4 hours to make your flight. Plus if you are going after May you can use the new luggage transfer and not have to fuss with your bags after you check them in at your hotel to go to the airport.

I would... oh yeah!!! :cool1:

If your flight is at 2, you have to be to the airport 2 hours before the flight and it takes about an hour or so to get to the airport... you'll have plenty of time to rub elbows just one more time before you head home. Just make it an early breakfast if you're worried.

GO FOR IT!!!

Thanks!

I am nervous because we will be using the bus system (no car this time).
We'd have to get back to POR to get our carry ons & het the Disney bus back to the airport. I'll have to figure out when the earliest bus goes to MK that day 10/10 & take the monorail to either GF or Poly.

Usually the buses run at least an hour before park opening, maybe 1 1/2 hrs. So, if you get a seating at 8:00, you should be fine using the bus. I have heard that they have special character buses that will run even earlier and you can take those if you have a PS. The ME bus will pick you up as early as 11:00, so be prepared to get back to POR by 10:30 to get all your stuff. If you leave yourself a little time you won't feel rushed. We usually eat in about 45 minutes to an hr., but no more than that.

No, I probably wouldn't do it. I'd be too nervous about cutting it that close. MCO has a strange(to me at least) way of handling luggage check in. 1st you have to wait in line at the airline desk to print up tixs and get luggage tags on. Then you schelp all your bags over to security, wait again, and then actually turn them over to be checked in. Also, I've noticed the lines at security check in can get pretty long. Asked a TSA agent nearby and he said there usually pretty long between 9 am and 1pm.

You'll be storing your luggage at front desk, relying on the buses, and having to go back to pick up luggage. If you had a car, you might be able to do it, cause then you could go straight to the airport. BTW, how are you getting to the airport with no rental car?

Guess I'm just a nervous nelly, but it would be too close for me to do it.

Hi TheKabuki,

We are going in Oct so we will be using the magic express. They should be handling all our bags except carry ons so hopefully we won't have to go thru all that at MCO.

You shouldn't have any problem at all. No reason you shouldn't be out of breakfast by 9:30. If you think you are cutting it close, take a taxi from the breakfast resort back to Port Orleans.
