Hi everyone!
We are planning to have a surprise 55th birthday dinner for my MIL at Crystal Palace on 10/08/04 and then do MNSSHP. I have read here that we should be allowed in with just our party tickets and our ps confirmation #. And we did that last year at the Christmas party.
However, when called to make our ps today the CM told us two things. We have a party of 9 and the only way to guarantee that we can sit together is to have a 4:15 PM PS. He also said he wasn't sure if they would let us in that early with just our party tickets and our ps confirmation #.
I know there are lots of you here who have done this before can you please reassure me that we will be able to get in with just our party tickets and our ps confirmation #. Also we ended up with a PS at 5:40 for two tables of 4, with my DS 3 sitting on a lap because the CM said it would be more likely that we are able to sit together. Has anyone had any experience with this? Have you been able to sit together?
One other question the CM said Crystal Palace is not open during the Halloween Party, does anyone know if that is true?
Thanks for your help!

I'm 99% sure you can get in to MK after 4:00p with only party tickets cause they have done this for the past 3 years so far. (I said 99% because things can always change with Disney but I doubt it).

Also, I'm 100% sure CP will be open for PS up until 6:00p. It is NOT open during the actual party, only LTT is open late those nights, but the other restaurants will be taking PS up till 6:00p.

I've eaten at CP before the party twice now...last year there were 9 of us and we had no problem getting at PS at 90 days for our night and our PS was at 5:15p.

Don't worry.;)

Thanks! When you made your PS's for 9 in the past did you have to have a PS for two tables? That is what the CM put down for us. I am not use to planning for a large group and they are all very inexperienced when it comes to WDW. It is starting to get stressful, but I am glad I have somewhere to find answers.:D
Thanks again!

We made PS for 9 at Chef Mickey's (one table) and at CP (two tables).

I think it depends where you eat. I guess CP doesn't have a table big enough.

I specifically asked the CM in dining when you can enter with the MNSSHP ticket for a ps and she said 4 pm.

When I bought our MNSSHP tickets a couple days before at City Hall last year, the cm specifically told me we could enter anytime after 4:00pm. It was no problem, they do not ask for a ps #. I understand they are doing this to stagger the times people are coming through the bag check. Otherwise it would be a mess at 7:00pm.
