I was planning on doing the Candlelight Processional dinner package and dine at the Rose & Crown. When I was looking at Deb Will's site, it said to make a PS at 8:45pm for the 6:15pm showing of CP. My question is this. If I make a PS for 8:45pm, would I be able to sit outside or will I have to sit inside? If I have to sit inside, is there a place diners can go to view Illuminations from the R&C? Can I make the PS for more like 8:15-8:30pm, or is that no enough time to get from AA to R&C?

If you end up inside, I hear the cast members there are great and will let you out onto the patio during Illuminations. It's been suggested to me to get my PS for Illuminations at 7:30 there, so the outside tables may be sucked up by the time you get there.

My only comment is that it might be really cold or raining, so the patio could end up closed anyhow. That's one of those things I'd just hope for, and not get too worried about! If you haven't seen the CP yet, you're in for a treat, it's VERY moving!

Unfortunately that's not the case anymore. I did the CP there in 2003, and yes, although I ate inside, the CMs led me out onto the patio to watch illuminations. Last month I took DS there, hoping for the same treatment. We were eating inside and no one said anything as Illuminations time approached. So just before Illuminations I asked, and she said they can't let us onto the patio any more, and she led us to an area next to Rose and Crown where we stood about 4 people back from the wall. In order to see clearly, I had to stand up on a curb. Had I known about this change, I would have gone outside earlier or finished quicker-you can find much better viewing spots on your own AFTER eating at R&C.

Thanks for the tip! I was running by my crew whether they wanted "beer or margaritas with thier Illuminations" and they are slowly trickling in with "margarita" answers - so that means we'll stay at the Cantina in Mexico for it, but I was jazzed about seeing it from the R&C too! But we don't want to take the chance of getting seated inside, so we'll try saving a waterside table at the Cantina instead now, especially with your recent experience in mind. :earsboy:

I've done the 6:45 CP package, our dinner seating is usually 8:00 to 8:15 (LeCellier or Alfredo's). The 6:45 show is over about 7:30. Illuminations is at 9:30 during the holiday season.

Last Dec., when I made our P for the CP package, I was given a choice of just few times for dinner. I tried to chage it by 15 minuntes, but the CM said the packages had specific seating times.

We went to the 6:45 CP and had an 8 pm PS at LeCellier. We were about 10 minutes late arriving, but so was everyone else. We had all gotten out of CP late.
