We will be at the world Dec 3rd-5th. I have heard this is a slow time at WDW. Will we still need to make PS's or should we be okay??

it depends on where you are wanting to dine. i have made my PS for the same time frame. our feeling is we would rather have the PS and not need it than need it and can't get it.

We often travel this time of year. I make "Have To" PSs, most notably the CP Dnr Pkg. We tend to eat our large full service meal for lunch and a lighter meal for Dinner. I call Dining prior to leaving the room that morning, once we decide which park we will visit that day, and have always been able to get a seating time within 30 minutes of my desired time, except once. I always have a "2nd choice" restaurant, just in case, but like I said I only used it once.

However, Le Cellier for Dinner does seem to book up in advance, so if that is one of your choices, you may want to call for that.

If you want to eat at MK on an MVMCP night you may need a PS.
I called yesterday to get a PS for Crystal Palace for Dec 12th.
The only time the CM said she had was 4:20.
Just wanted to mention that in case you wanted to eat at MK during an MVMCP night.

Im going then too, actually 3rd-6th and for the first time this psycho planner is not making any PSs. But, I have to admit I dont plan on doing any special meals and probably will just do counter service most of the time since this is a solo trip. If I had my heart set on any specific restaurants I would deifnitely be making my PS. :hyper: ;)

we always make them for any meals we are sure we want to do if we don't change ( thinking it might be busier than normal and .the verdict is still out if we'll go Dec or Jan) I made 1 for most days. the rest will be counter or food court or someplace that doesn't take them

last Jan ( slower yet) they were turning people without ps away from Ohanas and we had to wait an hr without one for breakfast at Kona. Lecelllier we didn't need it at 11:30 ( we were hungry!) nor at rfc( have safari club anyway)Bd we waited a few mins with ps but the rest. was empty. scifi we waited an hr with ps and the rest. was empty( go figure)

I'll be there at the same time, and I made PSs for the places we consider must-dos: Chef Mickey's for breakfast, California Grill, 50's prime time. If you think you would be really disapponted if you didn't dine at a certain place, I'd go ahead and make a PS for it:D
