We will be in WDW in Oct. and want to have dinner in LeCellar (Canada). Should we book a PS the same day we are wandering around the world and sampling all the foods? Or will we be too full for LeCellar?

You can always make a PS and then if you are to full cancel it. From my past experiences I find that I want to try so much of the samples that I really wouldn't enjoy a full meal. Canada usually has their cheddar cheese soup in their booth...yum!

It depends if you find enough you are willing to try at the F and W booths. It will take the edge off the dinner and you do want to enjoy the meal. I would say if you are planning to sample the foods at the Festival and you are not huge eaters than make the PS for another day. You could also try the F and W early in the day around lunch time and make your PS for a later dinner.

Here is what I was thinking of doing, we arrive at WDW on a Saturday and should be at our resort around 12-1:00 PM. We just trow our suitcases into our rooms and head over to Food an Wine festival and walk around sampling. I was going to make my PS for Canada another day. We are not big eaters to begin with.

That's what I would do. Are you staying in a hotel near Epcot? if you are that would be so easy to do! It is our plan as well.

We are staying at All Star Sports so by bus it won't take us long to get there, and besides I look at it this way, we have all day and then later we can take the monorail over to the MK and see the fireworks. We usually see the fireworks the first night we are there.

Hmm...I don't have an answer for you, but your post made me realize we will be there for the F&W Festival as well. My main reason for wanting to go to LeCellier was the cheese soup, and if it's in the Canada booth, we may not need to go there!

How much is it to eat at the F&W Festival, or is it almost like little counter-service type booths, pay as you go? Sorry for the dumb ???

You purchase items ala carte from the booths. They are just sample sizes, but it is a neat way to try something new.

If you look under allearsnet.com under Food & Wine Festival you should be able to find last years event. It will tell you how much some of the food was. I hope this helps.

We never get PS at Epcot during the F&W festival.....we enjoy the sampling so much!

We usually start the day with a roll of ones for the 2 of us ($100). Walk around the world eating and drinking anything that looks good on the sampling booths menus. Appetizer-sized portions are priced $1-4 each and small servings of beer/wine are usually $3-4 each. We walk around once for lunch/drinks/dessert, stopping to explore any country we feel like doing (the Maelstrom in Norway always....shopping in England and France....etc) and then we'll do another round for dinner/drinks/dessert/second helpings of favorites :) :) :) YUM!! With such a variety and abundance, we never need PS!

Yes, we eat a lot that day, but since we're walking around the whole time, it's hard to feel guilty about those calories. When we run out of money, we're done for the day :(
