PS - 60 days + 10?

Can guests staying on Disney property book dining 60 days from their check-in date for 10 days into their vacation? I know WDW ADRs can be booked this way, so I've searched for this info about DL dining and couldn't find it anywhere. We are checking in May 31, but I want to book Napa Rose's chef counter for June 1. I didn't know if I could book Wednesday (60 days from May 31) or if I had to wait until Thursday (June 1).

Also, since I live in SC, I am three hours ahead of California. The WDTC phone lines open at 7am EST, but is that only for WDW? Do I need to wait and call at 10am, so it will be 7am in CA?

I would call your onsite hotel directly. They used to offer guests the service of booking their ADR's for them through Guest Services. I have done that many times so unless something has changed, the hotel will do that for you. At the very least, guest services can give you the exact time you need to call. I have never heard of the 60+10 but then its so much easier at DL to make dining so I've never worried about needing that extra ten day window. Not sure about the Chef's table but for most places 60 days out or less is easy enough. My brother called two weeks for his priority seatings for his spring break trip and got all he wanted (Blue Bayou, Goofy's, Ralph Brennans).

But definitely call your hotel and see if guest services will make your ADR's for you.

Or you can call Disney Dining at: 714-781-3463. I think they are open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time and ask them the specifcs.

Unlike the Walt Disney World Resort, we don't offer the +10 offer for our on-site Guests.

We just don't have the demand for PSs that WDW has for their PSs/ADRs/whatever they're calling it this week, so it's never been really needed.

Also, you'll need to make those reservations directly with the Napa Rose. Disney Dining cannot make the counter reservation for you.

Thank you all very much for the info. I was just concerned about getting the Chef's counter for the day and time we wanted. It's good to know I shouldn't have any trouble.

I don't know about the Chef's counter, but I did learn on these boards that it isn't EXACTLY 60 days. It is just two months from your date. So, for example, since you want June 1, you can call tomorrow on April 1 since that is two months from your date. I called for our PS's for May 25th, 27th, and 28th on March 25th, 27th, and 28th (I really didn't mind making all three calls) and it worked fine. Just wanted you to call tomorrow if you can! Enjoy - I hear that is a wonderful dining experience.

Thanks for the info! I will definitely call tomorrow. If I can't book yet, I will just call back Thursday. I can call on my cell phone with no extra fees (nationwide calling), so I don't mind making the extra call. My only issue is that I'm in school at 10am. However, I cleared it with my teacher to make the call from my cell phone. (Cell phones aren't allowed on campus, but the rule is only enforced if someone is texting or the phone rings in class.) Since she was nice enough to let me call, I didn't want to have to call another day during class.

If you're staying onsite, you can have Vacation Planning book it for you. That way you wouldn't have to be calling from class.

But really, I'm not sure you need to worry like this for DLR dining...
