pruchase tickets before trip or at the gate?

We are planning on taking a day and going to US/IOA and I am trying to figure out if I should get the tickets in advance online or just get them at the gate. Is there any price difference? Seems the going price online is around $109 pp for the tickets that get you into both for one day. TIA!

Well considering you are going to be waiting in line all day I personally would just get them in advance to stop you from needing that line. I don't think there is a difference anymore....They used to offer "special online pricing" but as far as I know its same gate and pre bought now.

I would purchase the tickets online and use the electronic pickup option. You would pickup the tickets outside the main gates and there's rarely a line. You need to have the credit card used in the transaction and the confirmation number and the tickets pop right out. It's very easy and fast too.

The banner that is appearing at the top of my screen on this thread says that they are $10 cheaper if bought online.

That is also what the numbers that I found seemed to show. Even buying from Undercover Tourist was more expensive (by only a few $$) than online.

When you purchase a hotel/park package through Universal how are the tickets handled? Will they give me my tickets at check-in or will I need to pick them up at the park? And if so, can I pick them up at the park the evening I arrive (the day before I plan to enter the park)?

The hotels have a kiosk over at customer service that you can print your tickets at, at least RPH did. We used that last year when we checked in and got all of our tickets before walking over to the park, much easier!

I would purchase the tickets online and print as many copies as you want if you are concerned about losing or damaging that piece of paper. All they need is the bar code part.
Buying the tickets at the gate not only they are more expensive but the line will take from 30 minutes to an hour, precious time that you could the enjoying in the park.
