DD got a BLUE at the state fair for her genealogy exhibit!!!

Thank you everyone!!! She still doesn't know... I'm gonna hold off and let her find out when we arrive at the Fair this weekend! Or maybe later today, I will give her the link and have her look it up.. . This is a big ol' crazy week for her anyway.. cross country practices, registration for HS, school photos, freshman orientation.... OmG the girl has changes in a week and the reality of HS will be hitting mommy full force soon!

Give me some last names..bet we are already related... some of our family settled in northern GA, TN, KY and came to IN. (originally started out in DE, VA, NC, SC...)

DD just got a call from the leader of the 4-H Ambassadors.. she has an interview for that in 2 weeks!!! They are high school kids who go around to the different schools/ events promoting 4H involvement!!! They also work a lot w/ the younger kids in their mini-4H... Woo hoo!!! I hope she gets it!!! Nothing like taking on a little more your first year of high school!

Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!
