Last night I went with ds to his sports awards night. He is a senior and it was his lst year playing varsity basketball. He goes to a pretty small private school and most of the team has lots more expereince than him. Well he won the most improved player. He is also on the varsity baseball team and he told the coach he never even played on a baseball team before, just street ball because he is a lifeguard and bowling coach and his time was always taken up with that. Well he got the coach's award for the varsity baseball team too. The coach said he fit right in, followed all the rules etc. etc. I was so proud of my ds last night. Sad that my dh had to miss all of this since he is still on his 17 day asian business trip and is now in taiwan. To see the beaming smile on my ds face and total surprise was priceless!!

Congrats! My DS is a senior also and he won most improved in track. He worked really hard this year and brought his times down almost a minute over last year. It's hard that this is his last year.
