Protocol for booking "non Disney" resorts...

For example: If we decide to book The Sagamore in Lake George, And pay cash for the reservation as opposed to using our points, do we still get a member discount?? As DVC members, does this discount only apply to Disney world resorts?

If you're going to make a cash reservation at The Sagamore, you won't be going through DVC at all, so no, there's no DVC discount.

The member discount is only available at certain times, and only on DVC resorts, not other resorts at WDW.
