I bought a pair of the LLBean version of Uggs last year. They added some sort of stain protection to them during the manufacturing process, and my chestnut ones still look good.

I live in New England. I know Ugg-type boots aren't meant for deep snow, but I'll be walking around in a big city this winter and would like to use some sort of spray to help protect them. What brand of waterproofing spray do you use?

Scotchguard is what we've used for my suede boots for years. I think it would work on Uggs and similar boots. They may take a day to dry. Spray it on in a WELL ventilated area!

Ugg brand protecting spray works great! I got mine at zappos as well as a cleaning solution so if they do get dirty, you can clean them with appropriate detergent. I think the protectant spray was around $8 :)
