Pros and Cons with steamer trunks?

Do people LOVE these? Is there a reason you don't want one in your cabin?

Is it basically a place to put clothes or what? Thanks

They're great and hold a ton!
My only con is that if you have a Murphy bed in a deluxe family stateroom, it blocks the doors on the steamer. We just got used to temporarily flipping the bed up or else laying clothes out the night before.

One of our cabins has one and the other does not?? Are the cabins configured differently that have them?

We loved ours! It provided storage for all kinds of things! Wish we had them on the Dream.
