Pros and Cons of buying scooter from rental company

Specifically, Gold Mobility. On my last stay my scooter was great. It was the smaller one, relatively easy to maneuver, and I'm kicking myself that I didn't look into buying it. I assume it broke down for transport, but I never even checked. Just wondering-what are the pros and cons of buying a scooter that you've rented for the week?

Con: even if the purchase comes with a warranty, you would most likely have to bring it to them.
Possible con: not being able to purchase that specific ECV.
Pro: Price.
Pro: vendor reputation
