Proposal Ideas

I'm trying to decide how to propose to my DG. I'm debating between the first night on the characters in flight hot air balloon at night with the fireworks in the background, another night during our reservation at the tomorrowland dessert party during Wishes, or doing something private while wondering around our resort. All advice and opinions are appreciated . Also any other ideas are welcome too. Thanks.

My fiance did it behind Port Orleans with a horse drawn carriage and a glass slipper on a bed of white carnations with a tiara. We then went on a carriage ride along a path behind the resort. It was very peaceful and romantic

Just an idea... Then we went to dinner at Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge... That restaurant I think is one of the more romantic ones.

The problem with the characters in flight is that if the weather is bad than it will be closed and from what I hear it closes often.

I like the idea of during the dessert party. If you don't mind a small crowd watching than it would be very special. Another idea is to let the crowds start towards the exit and slowly walk up to the castle. The tunnel under the castle is often empty as the park is closing so it would be a very romantic relatively private place to propose.

What resort are you staying at?

I did consider the carriage ride idea, but I think I like the idea of doing it where I can get photos taken of the proposal. We are staying at the Coronado Springs Resort. I have heard that the Flight does have weather issues I was thinking if that was a no go I would have a back up in mind.

I think the dessert party would be beautiful... they have a photopass photographer there, so yo ucould always do it just before the fireworks start, get some amazing photos, then spend the show watching it as your first activity together as an engaged couple

All sound like great options. We just got engaged during Wishes and it was truly magical! We then had the run of the park for pictures and celebrating afterward. Disney is the best place to celebrate.
