Property Taxes?

Hi everyone - this is the first tax year (2008) that we've had our 12t0 pts at SSR. The actual property taxes for the year come out to $123.68. Do most people claim this on their income taxes, and can someone outline the correct procedure for doing so?

It is recommended that you check with your accountant or tax advisor on if this is something you can do or not.

I agree check with your tax person......I do claim that portion on our returns though.

No one can say if you can deduct them, but many DVC-ers do. If you file a standard 1040 with itemized deductions, you would add it to your schedule A, line 6 amount.
