does anyone know if the settlement stores sell propane canisters

Not sure if they sell the small canisters or not. If they do you will pay about 2 - 3 times the regular price. If you have a car with you there is a Walmart about 10 min. from the Fort on Turkey Lake Rd. Pretty easy to get to.
