I am planning to register for the 08 1/2 marathon, but this will be my first event. I am estimating my time as 3:20 - what should I do about the proof of time spot on the registration form?

If that is your half time, you will not require proof of time.

Proof of time is required for a sub-5:30 full or a sub-2:15 half. So if you anticipate to finish in MORE time than that for either event, no proof of time is necessary.

However--for those with sub-times or close times....you can use any event between now and Disney and submit it. I believe you can just bring it to Expo and they will adjust your corral.

For the half, when you sign up it says that proof of time is needed for anything under 2:45. My guess is that anything over 2:45 will be placed in Corral C and under will be split up into A and B.

Thanks for the quick responses! I wish they were more clear about that on the registration form. Or, maybe they are and I just missed it. Anyway, I'm going to sign up now!
