Proof of age under 3?

I'm taking my family to WDW in two months and our youngest will still be under 3 when we go. My question is this... has anyone ever had any issues with proving a child's age? Since she's just 2 she won't need a ticket but I'm wondering if I should bring any type of proof of age because she's pretty tall for her age and I certainly don't want to run into any problems.

BTW... I love the site, I've been lurking and researching for a couple of months now but finally decided to jump in!

I keep a copy of DD's birth certificate in my backpack just in case we were questioned. I've never had to produce it, but it was worth carrying it with in case we had any problems.

On our last trip, she was only 6 or 7 weeks shy of her third birthday. It was the only trip where we have even been questioned if she had a ticket. All I had to say to the CM was she was still 2 and there were no further questions. They never asked for proof of age.

I've never even been asked, but my ds is super tiny so doesn't look anywhere close to 3!! Next time we go he will be much closer to 3 so I'll probably take his birth certificate just in case.

I have never been questioned for my son or nephew also never heard of any problems. :)

I didn't even think of this. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have a copy, although as guest centered as WDW is, I wouldn't think they'd give you much trouble.

You may want to check on your airline requirements though, you may have to have an ID copy for the flights anyway.

Have Fun!

We were never even asked. My DD was 2 and my friend's DS (we travelled together) was weeks shy of 3 and nobody stopped either of us or asked us anything.

We have never been asked or ID for any of our children at WDW (or more surprisingly on any domestic flight). Intl. is another story.....

We just got back 2 weeks ago from a trip w/1 yr old. It never came up.

We did a trip to WDW a few years back when our DS had just turned 3. Strangely enough, we were asked numerous times by CM's at restaurants if he was under 3. We were on the DDP and had paid for his meals already....but I swear.....it seemed to me like they didn't want to charge us for his meals.....

We are just back with our very tall DS who is about 5 months shy of 3. Nobody looked twice at him.
