le sell-e-a (e and a are both long)
luh sell-YAY
I think it is pronounced . .
. . . lay-booked-up
I used to live in Brooklyn, New York. I would pronounce it Le Cellar and I did when I made me adr's. The cm correct me, luh sell-YAY and I still say LE CELLAR. You can take the girl out of Brooklyn but you can't take the Brooklyn out of the girl.![]()
Lay-booked-upDon't laugh too hard if you're seriously wanting a dinner reservation though. I called today to make my reservations and it was booked for dinner. I'm calling 5 months and 2 weeks before my trip. They were wide open for lunch though.
luh sell-YAY
that's what my years of french tells me anyway. not that it means anything.
I called a couple if days ago and got in for the beginning of Sept at 5 pm which was my preferred time with 2 kids - we like to eat early. The CM I talked to indicated they were not booked up even for dinner. We're going on 9/4.![]()
