I know that I read somewhere about what buttons to push to speed up the connection to an actual CM. Can someone post the message?

Thanks

I haven't made my ADRs yet, but I've called a few times just to play with this issue. What it looks like to me is that if it is asking you a multi-part question, you can press 1 for the first option, 2 for the second, and so on. I'd suggest that you call and walk through it a few times prior to your ADR date.

We did our reservations on Sunday and after getting through right away all we had to do was say reservations, say no to Victoria & Alberts, then push 1 for the timeframe and wait for the CM to come on. We were lucky, we got through at 7 and were done in 20 min. I actually called back yesterday to see about a different time for our LeCellier reservations and was able to get right through and was able to get a much better dinner time and then cancelled our original time.

These are the prompts I've had this week. (I can only tell you what options I have had)
As soon as the recording starts speaking in Spanish I've said "English"
Then it asks to better direct me, before it is finished I've said "Reservations"
The next question is if you are dining at Victoria and Alberts, I've said "No" before it even asks.
Then there is a brief spiel about staying on the line for an operator. Then there is one more message about directing your call, it tells you to listen as the message changes daily. Basically the message is talking about dates from I think May to the last date that people may be booking at with 90+10 (Today it said the 29th of August" This is not a voice prompt. If you want those dates, you press one.
I would suggest calling a few days in advance so that if the prompts change, you will know. Good Luck!

Can you please post the phone number you are using. I would like to have that with your notes on what to say.

Thanks.

I tried it twice this week (practicing on Monday and right now) As soon as the recording starts I press 0 and then when "she" starts talking agian I say no and then it says please wait for the operator I think its quicker than the other way.

Quick question when the recording talks about the dates it said up to Aug 29??
Is that right Im not suppose to call untill May 27, because my start date of my vacation is Aug 25 or is that only for ppl who vacations already started :headache:

First date of trip is Sep. 17th and will stay through Sep. 26th

On what day can I start calling? I think I know but want to check with other people's math.

Yes, May 27 for Aug 25 check in date.

Yeah, 90 days is actually June 19th.....so is that when we have to wait until?

Even if the date goes through the time that your are there, you will not be able to book until your 90th day since they ask for your check-in date and confirmation number and pull the info up on the computer. I had called and asked the CM that question since they were booking past my start date but had to wait until the 90th day. Thankfully that was before the free dining frenzy and we got everything within 20 min.

The link above is a calculator.
Plug in the date you arrive at WDW and it will tell you the date you can begin making reservations. You will then be able to reserve for the first ten days of your trip.

I'm new to making ADRs, but learning fast.

I've called six times since Monday and the prompts have been the same each time as I've seen stated here.

First response is: Reservations
Second response is: No (regarding Victoria and Alberts)
Third response is: [press] 1

It might be a good idea to practice before hand... the first call I listened to the pre-recorded messages because I didn't know what to expect. I found for the first two prompts you don't need to wait to answer.
