Prom.

my school isn't calling it prom their calling it 8th grade dance. we can't have limos and the dress code for girls is horrible no strapless or skinny staps no halters and back must be covered. my aunt is making my dress its going to be gold i'm thinking on the type of bottom either long or short. but the "dance" is may 25 and 8th grade gets out of school may 23 so we have a day to get readyy. the theme is red carpet/hollywood its really pretty.

I had an 8th grade prom, too. We had some ridiculous dress code, but no one followed it. I went strapless then and so did a lot of girls.

But my school was pretty lenient.

Hmm.
I think mine is on the 21st of June, the grade 8 one anyways.
The only rules are, no limo's and we aren't allowed to call it a prom. We can get dressed up anyway we like. Which means everyone (girls anyways) will be dressed in a dress.
Guys will probably only be dressed up if their mothers force them to.

I talked to my friends earlier and yeah we're just gonna go in a group. Sorry, but I think limos are tacky and overrated, so we won't even bother.

There's an after party but it's just gonna be people getting drunk and having sex so I'm not even going to bother with that.

I'm not sure why I'm going but to hang out with my friends.
