Are any of you going to the prom? How many of you younger disers are planning on going to your prom?



As for me, no. I did some research online, and figured that it will cost me around $1000 for the prom. I'm sorry, but I'm not paying that much to go to school and dance.

I did some more research, and looked on Travelocity. I found that I could take my date on a five day trip to Miami for $1,145. Hotel right on the beach. That also includes an airboat ride in the everglades.

I'm sorry, but I would consider Miami more romantic than school. So if I am going out with someone when the prom comes around, I'm going to desperately try to convince them to do this instead.

I am a "younger dis-er" and I plan on going. I understand your concern Mike. I just don't want to miss out on that. I may regret it in later years. I doubt I will be asked though.

honestly, i'm not thinking that far ahead. and there's a tomboy who keeps on asking people if they're gonna wear a dress. it bothers me.
but of course i'm going, that is if i have a date. no date, no prom, no problem.

4 foot 6?!?!?! you're shorter than me, and well- that's a record. people gasp in shock when i tell them i'm not even 5 foot. i've grown about 1 inch in three years, it's sad.

i skipped out on my junior prom, but im deffinitley going to my senior. i know for a fact i wont be asked by a guy, but thats okay, id rather go with my girls. sure it wont be as romantic, but we'll have fun anyway.

Same here. All the sophmores came to our suppose to be junior only prom, so we'll be returning the favor.

I didn't go to my junior prom, it just wasn't that big of a deal to me but I am definetly going to my senior prom this year. I already have my dress, shoes, etc. I pretty much know, that I won't be asked by a guy, but eh, I'd still have fun just going with my friends. .
