My prom song came on the radio yesterday, and it made me realize how odd my class was. I don't think our song was a typical prom song, especially for when I graduated!
I graduated in 1998, and our song was "Nights in White Satin" by the Moody Blues. I do remember the senior class advisor being worried that the parents wouldn't like it because he was afraid it would make them think of "nights in white satin sheets".
Then it really annoyed me because they selected prom invitations that had a knight riding up to a castle. I don't think that says much for my school - the graduates think nights = knights?
What are your prom songs, and do you think they can accurately show when you graduated from high school?
