Projecting Crowd Based on FP+

Hello,

I have one day for parkhopping animal kingdom and epcot this year, we don't care if it is either Wed 9/26 or Thu 9/27. We initially planned 9/27. Our fastpasses are for AK 9/27 in the morning (we didn't get FOP, so we don't really care about them) We would go to Epcot after we get off FOP.

I noticed that EMM for Epcot is 9/27, which is leading to less available fastpasses.

9/26 the first Frozen time is 4:55 and the first Soarin time is 10:55.

9/27 The first frozen time is 6:55 and the first soarin time is 12:20.

Does that truly mean that epcot will be much more crowded on Thursday as opposed to Wednesday? Is this a good predictor of crowds, or am I making something out of nothing?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah....I think you're trying to apply too many logistics to this. Here's my thought....choose the park you want and the Fps you want...if you have the Fps, the crowd really doesn't matter. This is especially true for me in Epcot as the number of rides are fairly limited and the crowd is dispersed over a lot of territory. Again, this is just my perspective. Have a great trip.

I wouldn't put any stock into determining a parks crowd level based on FP's. Their constantly being dropped and changed. Someone could drop a Frozen FP for 10am as soon as you look and you might think it's a low crowd day.

EMM or EMH? I thought only MK and now DHS have EMM, but had not heard about it at Epcot. If it is EMM, crowd levels will not be impacted because EMM is such a small number of people, and they're riding headliners, that could conceivably reduce the demand for those people to get FP+ on those rides later.

For EMH, the crowd levels may or may not be affected. I know I'm planning to RD Epcot for its EMH on one of the days I'll be there in November, but then I'll be hopping to AK where I have my FP+ booked for the afternoon. While sometimes the EMH parks are the most crowded, it's not always a hard and fast rule. It's becoming a more common strategy for people with park hoppers to take advantage of the low crowds for EMH and then go elsewhere when the park starts to fill up.

Also, am I the only person who is finding my font size keeps randomly changing as I type? It started yesterday, and it's doing it both on my laptop and desktop.

You're correct, EMH. My mistake
