Project Runway - Season 3 Official Thread (SPOILERS!!!)

Ugghh...How annoying! They drug this finale out for more than a month and Jeffrey winning is the final result. That is just wrong. I didn't even bother watching tonights show because I just knew Jeffrey was the winner. Truly disappointing.

:sad2:

My vote would have gone to Uli :thumbsup2

Hers was a collection that I could see "average" women actually wearing.

Who in their right mind would wear anything of Jeffery's? :confused3

Michael's was too tight and shiny for my taste and Laura's was all too formal. (was anyone else caught off guard by the appearance/looks of her DH?)

:woohoo: I was very happy to see Jeffrey win! I loved Uli too and I think she's going to have a very bright future.

Who? Einstein? I'm sure he's a nice guy and all but whoah!

I think that I am in the minority here! I kinda like Jeffrey. I like him even more since they just showed that thing he said about Laura!!!!!

"Maybe if she tried having a bunch of kids without a rich husband she would end up in a minivan and sweatpants too!"

As a sahm in sweatpants who drives a minivan, I have to totally agree! Oh well, at least I don't wear the ones with elastic at the ankle!

I wasn't wowed by any of their runway shows and I think it was the music. It all just seemed blah and the models seemed like the walked slow and bored. I mean I know they are supposed to look blank, but geez!

I guess I'm in the minority, but I was happy Jeffrey won! I had been rooting for him and Michael, and I definitely thought his collection was better than Michael's. I loved that striped dress.

Uli's was good too, and I was actually expecting them to pick her. I liked a lot of her collection, but there were a few things I definitely didn't like, too.

Laura's collection still seemed too old to me. Some of her outfits were pretty, but it all seemed boring to me.

I was also happy Jeffrey won. I liked this show the best. I sort of liked his music. His collection was unique and seemed to go together really well. I thought it might be Uli,but the editing seemed to be all about Uli and that really doesn't bode well. I didn't like Laura's at all. And Michael just missed the mark. I was disappointed in his collection. Sort of like last year, I was disappointed in Daniel's collection.

Congrats to Jeffrey!

Bruce Dern and Laura's husband - seperated at birth? :rotfl:

ITA! The music was BORING! None of the models were "working the clothes."
Even Jeffrey's favorite model was lifeless and in previous episodes you could always count on her to "work the clothes." (I thought she was at least partly responsible for his win in the couture challenge-as Michael Kors said she looked like she loved wearing that dress).

The runway show tonight just wasn't exciting. The clothes were great, but the show itself was just lacking in excitement.

ITA! Jeff's music made me feel like crying in a dark corner, Uli's made me want to get up and start tip toeing around like a fairy and I tried my damnedest to not pay attention to Laura's or Michael's. The models all looked really super still and nervous which kinda made the thing lifeless.

That's funny. :goodvibes

However, you have to give the guy some credit for holding down the fort by himself w/ five kids and a turtle while Laura has been away all this time.

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Those f-ing turtles are gold-diggers. However, if you can feed guests with their poop then I guess you're doing alright.

I loved Laura's stuff and I would wear one of Uli's dresses if she brought the neckline up a bit. But ... I was right. Jeffrey's collection looked so much better walking down the runway than in still shots. One color palate flowed to the next. It was a very cohiesive collection. Although I think he is an arrogant putz (who is really a wuss and putziness tries to cover it) his collection was the best. Bummer :(.

You cheat, you lie, you go over budget, you win. Hmmmm, sounds like a typical day in everyday America to me. :sad2: Uli should have won hands down and I'm glad to hear that people were leaving the show already asking how to contact her.

:furious: :furious: I'm so done watching this show!!

Who are you kidding? Laura had a full time nanny. Mr. Bennett is a partner/owner in a major arch. firm in NYC. I read an article online (sorry can't reference it at this exact moment).. that Laura has a full time nanny all the time -even when she wasn't working the collections.
