What did you take a picture of today??

I am not sure what I will be shooting today. I take my parents to their dr. appointments and my Dad has one today so maybe a picture of the building. Since I am documenting my life for the year that would be a part of it. I'll have to see if something else clicks.

I have plans to take pictures of every single room in our house as they are decorated now - would be cool to look back on that many years from now. (Wouldn't you love to see what your childhood house looked like?)

We also have MANY pets so I may take individual or group shots of them and write about their personalities. (4 cats, 3 lizards, 1 hamster, 2 cockatiels and 8 parakeets)

Next week I want to try to get a tv shot of the American Idol icon as dh, dd10 & I watch the show. I also want to take a screen shot of the DIS boards home page for one day.

Our local Hallmark store is closing before the end of the month and I am very sad about that. I want to get a shot of the outside of the store before it is gone.

Both my kids love to draw so I may set up shots of them drawing their characters.

Yesterday I sat down and got all caught up with the pictures and the journaling up until last Sunday. I print my pictures at Walmart on Sundays so I am thrilled with that!!

Well.... I haven't been posting because I forgot to take pictures the last two days! I am going to back track and take staged photos.... I know it is cheating, but I hate to miss those days in the book! DD is home sick and it is just driving me to distraction (not the illness... just having her home driving me nuts!). Today will probably be a picture of DS snowboarding unless they cancel lessons due to the cold weather.......................P

Cheating? It's not cheating. Just make sure you turn off the date stamp if your camera puts that on the front of the photo.

The boys played all day after school, but I forgot to get the photo for it because I photographing swap stuff. I will be staging a photo of their toys today for yesterday.

I pick them up from school today, so it'll be a minivan or school photo today.

My DS has been making sketches the last few days so I think I'll take a picture of his sketches or of him drawing. He's a really good artist, but will go for months without drawing a thing and then the mood will strike and he'll sketch everything. So, since he's in the drawing mood, it's a good time to get that documented.

I took my photo already of our 4-H Ambassadors giving their presentations!!! They were a hoot!!

After all that I ended up taking a picture of my Mom in front of the vase of yellow tulips I brought over the other day. My Mom loves flowers and I can't have them here since the cats will eat them or try to drink the water or just knock the whole thing over - so I enjoy them at their house. Funny thing...when Dad & I came back from his appointment, all the flowers had drooped over and looked terrible! My Mom had closed the blinds so I guess they missed the sun. Glad I got the shot when I did!

I ended up taking a photo of my scrap stuff and the laptop with DISboard up in the background. Kids were disappointed that none of them got picked for the photo of the day.

My picture today was of a feverish DS curled up on his pillow on the floor looking at his cars. It is so pitiful!

I took two--one was of DS sitting on DH's lap, holding on to the chair rungs and trying to eat them! The other was of the TV when Pat Summitt got her 1000th win!!

Well... my photo for Thursday ended up being a photo of the tickets to the school play. DS is in the crew, so I can't really take a photo of him on stage (unless I did it after the show I suppose). My staged photo for Wednesday was of a large pile of boogy tissues that DD left next to the bed (ewwww!).... it wasn't hard to stage because she has done it every day this week! You would think at age 13 she would remember to put a trash barrel next to the bed!.............P

Yesterday's picture was of the DIS. Pretty impressive that I managed to wait until Feb to use it - I thought for sure I'd need it as a filler in January.
