Well, we were SUPPOSED to be down the Cape this weekend visiting with the IL's where I would have lots of photo ops, but due to hurricane Bill coming up the coast we postponed until next weekend. Will have to figure something else out...

We went down the "beach" today (in quotes because there is technically no beach at high tide), as Bill is bringing in some amazing waves and views. It's sticky and muggy here, but down there was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed over an hour and now that I'm home again I wish we had stayed longer. I said to DH - "When I ask you in the horribly crappy weather of winter and summer, 'Why do we live here again?' you can remind me of why. This right here. I can't imagine not being able to come to the ocean whenever I want to."

Today is a collage photo.. of my DD racing in her first XC meet that I got to attend.. she did great... had her best miles splits at just over 7... I need her down to 7 in 2-3 more meets.. brought her overall time down 2.5 minutes.. so I need cloud cover and 70s for her to run her good races! LOL The second photo will be the score board from my DS8's first official football game.. We won!!! We came back to win it.. it was a tug-pull game but we pulled it out and won by one point!!!
