Okay...there's GOT to be a story behind that toilet picture!
You're off to a good start...my goodness you already have a page done and I haven't even taken my first photo yet! It's looking good!

I spent the whole day sick. Sick as a dog.
I had the house to my self and I couldn't do a darn thing.

Thanks. I'm going to pre-make some layouts ahead of time so when I start to fade, I'll think, well I have to use up those first.

I'm very impressed! I like the sentiment too, with the sunrise as Day 1 pic and the sunset as your Day 365.

As I mentioned on the other thread, I'm doing this all digi, and my first page is done.

I don't have the individual credits for each element right now, but 90% of everything on the page is from scrapgirls.com (lots from the Cherise Oleson's Fresh Air collection); the "day letters" are by Erika Hernandez / 2 Peas), and the journaling font is CK Becky (thought it was appropriate considering the Project was her brainchild).

I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's creativity blossom during the year! I think this will make us better scrappers in the long run because it will help us hone our camera skills and become better journalers.

Do you bind these in a book via shutterfly type or do you print them out individually?
I like your layout. It looks so professional.

Those of you who came up with their own designs - way to go! I'm still going to get the kit just to make it easier on myself, but those look great!

My picture for yesterday was the driveway covered in white stuff (and the reason we didn't do anything fun for New Year's Eve). Today I've decided won't be a picture, but I'm going to tuck my "lists" into the larger pocket - all my goals for the new year, my "To-Do" lists for the week, the month and the year. That will definitely be something I want to look back on later in the year.

I am impressed with the do it yourself kits too, but I'll need the kit or I will never get it done.

DH has promised to take one photo a week from where ever he is to add to the album. I won't hold him to a specific day.

Heyyyyyy...look who's here! Again...you have a whole page done and I have one picture (well, more than one but I'll use just one!)

Oh....I did get a photo of the sunrise but it's really a crummy shot. That's what you get when you have only south facing windows that do not face walls. That and then windows are filthy and I am unable to clean them. (I live on the 6th floor of an apartment building.)

I was thinking maybe you had gotten a brand new toilet and painted the wall a brand new color and that was your completed project....or maybe your cat had jumped in the toilet and taken a swim....or SOMETHING more exciting than being sick!

I have a huge three ring binder that I picked up at JoAnn's. I was going to use it for something else, but it'll work for this. I'm going to let each boy have the camera for a week and use my Disney Days of Week elements for them. I like a little variety in my albums. Otherwise it'll start to be boring.


I like the idea of DH sending you a picture a week.

I'm planning to do this. I took a pic for today already! I will do this digital as well. For those doing digi, there is a designer making a Project 365 kit of her own and it should be ready tomorrow. She has some awesome designs and you definately won't regret it!

Yep. Go take a look tonight. It won't be in there, but past kits are. There is a baby book one. That way you'll know you are in the correct place. Also, I'd suggest you register w/ the website tonight. It took me a bit to do it today & it won't let you finalize your order unless you have a user name & password. Good Luck tomorrow.

i want to make sure i'm in the right spot.

Keep the cards in places you can easily get to them & see them. I'd even suggest putting some in your camera case or purse, car, bathroom, kitchen, etc. Don't just put them in one place. Then right after you snap your picture, do the journalling for it. Then after dinner slip it in its proper place in the book. It will help you when you go to print out the pics too. B/C you'll know what day you took what pic.
