What did you take a picture of today??

Not sure what today will be yet as it is early. I took a couple yesterday of the hamster and of one of the cockatiels so I *may* use one of them. I am running a lot of chores this morning so maybe something will catch my eye. Or I can get one of my dd10 at Girl Scouts tonight.

Today- Pic of DS17 in front of my picture door. It's my front door where I have all my posed pics in the house. It's actually funny, as every first day of school since we moved in has been in front of that door, and I can see how the kids changed over the year.

DS20's idea, I think I shared it before, is to have my first page in my album be of the cast of characters on their birthdays. So, DS17 is first, and starts my first page. Now I have to print out a cute "Cast Of Characters" for my title, and figure out how to have 5 people, and 2 dogs on that first page. Maybe I need to rethink this and add a page in front...

Deb, we do the front door thing too! Although I am a little sad, we are most likely moving this spring. I think I will probably take one last picture in front of that door.

Today will be a photo of all the grocery bags before I put them all away! It should fill up the entire 5 foot counter area on the left side of my "U" shaped kitchen!

i like the cast of characters thingy. i'm might have to steal that one deb!

Debbie, I like the "cast of characters" idea too. I'm going to have to remember to do that in one of my books.

I haven't taken a picture today. I should have taken one of the airport when I took DH there this morning, but I totally forgot. Oh well, I will get one of it on Sunday when I pick him back up. That'll be a happier picture! I think for today I'll take a picture of my stack of library books and movies. I went there today and got lots of books and movies. It's one of my favorite places!!

My picture was of my screen on the laptop with my Facebook page open. I just reconnected with a cousin I haven't seen in over 20 years because of Facebook!

I took 3 different ones--I have to pick. The first was DS and I dressed in red for Go Red for Women day--don't like that one as much since it was 6:30 a.m., and DS wasn't wild about the flash at that time! Also, DS started really holding himself up while sitting up today, without falling forward and going splat. So, I got a pic of that! And then, there was the "painting himself (and everything else) with prunes" display he put on at dinner. . .got a pic of that, too! Now, just to choose!

And. . .on a sort of OT note. . .only 2 more days of prunes! HALLELUJAH!!

I have days were I have a collection of 2 to 4 pictures. I just make them wallet size to print out on the 4x6.

Ooh! That's a good idea!! Can I do that in photoshop?

I don't know. I am so challenged, I copy and paste into Word and then play with sizes there so I can print out lots on a 8-1/2x11 glossy sheet.

I do it in photoshop all the time- because when I do them small I print them myslef I tend to use 8 by 10.

What I do is to open a new file (whatever size I want the finished product to be) and then I open the pictures and crop as needed. I then resize to what will fit and then drag it over to the original file I made. I continue doing that with each picture I want on it until it is all filled up.

Thanks for those directions, I need to play with that. Sounds pretty straight forward and easy.
