I just watched the lates Dis Unplugged video with Craig, Ryno and Kylie doing their 'progressive holiday meal'. I'd never heard of this before and it seemed like a really cool way to try out some different options!

It got me thinking, does anyone have ideas for some 'progressive meal combinations' from quick service locations around WDW that they could share? My thoughts are that EPCOT could have some great options for this kind of thing with World Showcase. It's something I'd like to give a try on my next trip!

Cheers!

The difficulty you have is most QS places don't have what I would consider apps, but it's probably still possible if you're sharing. EP is definitely the easiest place. You could start at Sunshine Seasons which has multiple salads and soups to choose from, but the French bakery might be a better choice to start and everyone have their own. Problem is, I would want to end there as well for dessert. The Norway QS has some good desserts too, but they also have a charcuterie that would work as an app. Nachos at Mexico could be an app. Katsura Grill in Japan has sushi, so you could make that its own course. The entrée course would be the hardest....too many choices!!

Good thinking, but you're right, there are so many choices! Makes me think if there are specific combinations people have tried that they think is great I'd love to know. I guess this would work really well for food and wine festival, which I've yet to visit, but have seen from the various videos online that there are more small dishes that could work for the appetisers.

Maybe for a themed progressive meal you could have 'flavours of Europe' (or any other continent from WS) - so you could do your appetiser at the French bakery as you suggest and also finish at Norway for dessert and fill in the gap with UK / Germany / Italy (am I forgetting any others?). Perhaps this would also work at AK with an African food tour, or an Asian one. I'm not sure how HS and MK could feature progressive meals yet....but food for thought....ha....

The Polynesian - appetizers and drinks at Trader Sams, Pork Nachos at Captain Cooks, and then bread pudding at Tambu Lounge.

This is perfect! Just the kind of 'recipe' that makes sense to me, I may well have to give this one a go.
