Progressive Dinner Reception

Hi everyone!

I'm in the process of booking the WP, Summerhouse patio, and then AK flame gardens. I was thinking of doing a progressive dinner reception since we can't get into the official reception at AK until 9:30. Possibly do hors d'oeuvres and salads at the Summerhouse patio immediately after the ceremony while watching the water parade before heading to AK for dinner, dancing, and cake.

Has anyone ever had a traveling progressive dinner wedding reception before?

That sounds like a really clever way to handle the late reception start time. Then when you get to AK you can launch right into dinner and it won't seem as late as if the reception was starting right off with hors d'oeuvres at 9:30. I love that idea!
