Here are a couple of photos I took a little over a week ago at Animal Kingdom. It looks like the Yak and Yeti restaurant will be quite large.

According to AllEars, it's set to open October 8th, however they have not yet started taking ADRs for it.

It seemed like there was plenty more to do. Oct. sounds like a little soon to be opening. Then again, I am sure that they have many people working on it almost around the clock.

It will have 2 stories. I wonder if the main dining room will be on the 2nd floor and counter service on the first. I think the elevator might not fit into the Anandapur theming

Thanks for posting. I wish it was going to be open in Sept. With the closing of Tuskers, I think eating at AK will be an adventure. Guess we'll have to wait until Sept. 08 to try it.

Mouseplanet is reporting that the opening has now been pushed from 10/8 to sometime (no actual date) in November.

I also heard that there will be a store in there too. Maybe that is why it looks so big. I can't wait to try it.

I can't either! I was hoping they'd be open by the time we are there, but from what I'ver ead I don't think it will. Maybe next time
