Just to let you know. I have finished allbut my Christmas group. I have that one cut and flocked but haven't pieced it together yet.

I got to working more on these this week - I have all my stuff printed and have been inspired to do some cool stuff! I'm loving that fun flock.

For my birthday, my wonderful husband is putting the new desk into my room (which I acutally have almost cleared out and reorganized). The overhead cabinet won't go up until he has someone to help with it since it weighs a ton but if all goes well tomorrow night (wow it's actually tonight now), I will have a big L shaped cubicle desk/return for all of my scrapping pleasure! I am so excited about this!

I can relate to that actually. In our first house after DS was born he moved into my room there -but at that time the hobby (and semi-business) was painting, not scrapping. So I would find myself on a talbe with many tablecloths and floorcloths to drag out the paint stuff and work in a strange place. Painting is messy. DH was not fond of that!

I just realized this is due next week and I'll be good - I have all my stuff ready (one group done) and here are the prototypes for the other three for your viewing enjoyment:

Character group - Dumbo - I attempted for the first time a hand cut paper piecing with multiple paper colors thanks to the recent tutorial! Dumbo's body is flocked.

This is for my animal kingdom group. It's a little big but the image just struck me. The tree is flocked as is the lion mane and then I used glaze pens and a glitter pen on some of the other animals. I have half of these done - I printed weird and have to reprint the other three.

For the animal group - I am going to put him on a tag I think because he's only one layer. So I'll double mat a big 'ol tag to lay him nicely on with maybe some grass if I can find it to cut out. The black is all flocked.

Thanks for telling me. As long as I know I am not supposed to be sending you back one, it's good. It just gets confusing when I don't know there is supposed to be one less, and I have to go back through stuff.

Thanks. That's why I liked it - I was looking for a tree of life picture and this came up in Word clipart of all things and I loved it.

Our last check-in is today. When you check in, please be specific about where you are (ie. These groups are done, I need to do ___ for group ___). Most of you have already posted such an update in the last couple of days, so I've marked you as checked in.

Our due date is March 7th, so you should have these in the mail already if you aren't sending priority, and in a few days if you are. Remember, if you mail on March 8th or later you MUST send priority with DC, and send me the DC# so I can keep tabs on the status.

My check-in, I still have the Everyday Life - Girl group to do, and the Kiddo group. I am working on these today, and hope to have everything done by tomorrow.

My package is all ready to go to the post office tomorrow. We are getting a lovely mix of winter weather, so I will post tomorrow if I was able to send it.
