Ohhhh I like that....I should have done that before I put the 2 peices of paper together...I'll put some in a baggy and you guys can add them if you want... I'll stick some twine,black and gold fibers in there too.

So today was a very rough scrapping day, I was ready to throw out the cricut. However in the end everything turned out good. I am redoing my Buzz group and will post it and a few more tomorrow. I forgot to take more pics as I was helping my sister and her 8 friends tye dye t-shirts.

Fantasyland: this page caused a lot of my problems today. I cut all the letters at the wrong size but I think it turned out cute!

Critter Counrty: The journaling is hidden behind the topper and the sign says. Davy Crockett Canoes, Winnie the Pooh and Splash Mountain.

Yay! Our first postal.

So I realized that the due date is actually Memorial Day, no mail, so I did move the due date slightly. Now, it's Friday, May 29th, cause I prefer easy dates to remember like Mondays and Fridays.

Also, this Monday is our 3rd check-in date. For this one, I ask that you be specific about your progress, ie:

It's a good thing I don't have to add time for mailing, but even for the groups I don't have done, I have sketches, and CDS files ready...I just have to actually sit down and do them.

Hi guys, I'm checking in. I have two of my cats done & have been working on Grizzly River Rapids. I have the titles done & am working on the photo mattes and journalling boxes this weekend. But my dad has been super sick & today was rushed to the hospital & we will find out tomorrow if he has pancreatic cancer. If so, I'm going to pack up what I have done & have my dh send it on Wed. as is and simply apologize to all of you in that group.

I'll check in on Wed. to tell ya'll what happening. In advance, sorry! I thought I was right on target but illness is never on the schedule.

Ok as all of you know i'm not a "traditional" scrapbooker (truely does anyone even know what traditional is anymore??)
Now i found an awesome vintage disneyland attraction poster of NOS and I would like to print it on cardstock and double mat it and use that as my title.
I just like something different than the normal "topper/Title" Here is the photo file of it.
and the color scheme will be tied in with the poster as well with mardi gras elements.
What does everyone think?

Oh Esther, I can't imagine how stressed and worried you must be! I will be thinking good thoughts for your dad.

Thank you for having a plan to send out what you have finished so far. If you want, you could send the paper for the mats and boxes and I could cut them up and assemble them, if you like.

I LOVE the posters i use them for all kinds of stuff i love them for ATC's and i used them for my storybookland ride layout and i just love it.
I've been thinking about makeing a book and useing one of the posters for each page.
Sweet well this makes my job 10 times easier.....See now I thought if i did it like that you guys would think I'm a slacker. I have the embelishments and the paper I just don't know what to do for the title.
