Ahh do you think he was truly evil or do you think he just looked that way kind of like a double agent. I was wondering if he might be killed off in the last book. Who do you think will be killed of the main characters?

EVIL!!! I can't stand him! :stir:

I heard that Rowling was hinting that she might kill off Harry in the last book. Anybody think she will?

You know I thought that but then one never knows...she does have enough money personally so she can do what she wants with the character since she can end the series w/out thought for sales or a revival.

I hope she doesn't. Knowing me, I'd probably get ticked and feel like I've wasted my time. (I know, I know, it's just a book!) I think I yelled at the end of the last book when I saw who she killed off... ;)

:confused3 I can't figure him out. I think he's evil on the outside, but deep inside he might be good. I like the double agent theory.

I also wonder if Harry will be killed in the last book. That might be Rowling's way of ending the series so fans won't be after her to write another book. :guilty:

I am impatiently waiting for the next book to be published.

I am leaning this way too, especially if you read between the lines of her last interview. She mentions not wanting some non-author written series follow-ups-like Star Wars, etc.

As far as Snape goes, part of me thinks that he is truly evil because of the frequent mentioning in the last book of Dumbledore mistakes and them being "huger" then most people's. I would like to think that Dumbledore and Snape had an unbreakable vow that Snape would kill him in the event that it came to that. Dumbledore will be around in book 7 and will still be offering advice to Harry from the portrait on the wall in his old office.

I think snape is pure evil. J.K. Rowling however says that he redeems himself in the last book.

These are the predictions of mine. I think Harry Potter will be killed off so there is no window for J.K. Rowling having to write another book. I don't know why she would not want to write another book, she's making a lot of money.

She has made many, many comments about her wealth and basically how embarrassed she is by it. She has more then enough money to live many lifetimes. She will write other books, just not any more in the Harry Potter series ( other then possibly an encyclopedia of magic type book as she has said). Her latest interview she said she want to write a children's series that is aimed at younger kids and the books are much shorter, maybe "Series of Unfortunate Events" type size?

I think it will be that he was really good and then he will be killed in the last book. I think it will be him and Voldemort who die in the last book

Snape is good. He had to kill Dumbledore (Dumbledore was the one who told him to do it, sacrificing himself for the cause) so that the dark side would believe he was on their side. But really he is there to help the good side.

Yay!! Someone who understands!!! I re-read books a lot, and when I do, it's like talking with old friends. :goodvibes I tend to get really into whatever I'm reading (I have a super active imagination). So the Harry Potter books have been great....well....until the end of the last one...when is the new one supposed to come out?

I still think Snape is evil...maybe it's just because I don't like him.

I think he is good, but comes across as evil. Didn't he save Harry once or twice already? Did he save him in one of the early books during a Quidditch game, or from drowning in one of the later books? I still need to read the 6th book, I have had it on my shelf since it came out but have been so busy with school. Better get going before the last book comes out!

I think Snape was a Voldemort follower until he actually killed Harry's parents, and maybe Snape was partly responsible, not realizing that Voldemort would actually kill them. Then perhaps, after the murder he was remorseful, and went as a double agent, ultimately working for the good. Otherwise he could do a lot of damage at Hogwarts.

I think Snape is basically good.. but just can't let the dark side know he is good.

I also think that Harry and He who cannot be named will both die. I don't think one can live without the other, therefore one cannot die without the other having died also.
