Since 98% of the threads on this forum are about the WDWCP, with 1% being generic college threads, and only the remaining 1% being about WDWPI, I figured I'd start a thread where we can localize that discussion (if any actually exists).

I've been accepted as an IT Professional Intern for Fall 2009, and my check-in is August 21st.

I started a blog to compensate for the lack of WDWPI information at http://wdwpiblog.andysite.net

I will answer any questions people have as soon as I have the information available to answer them. In addition, if there's anything specific you'd like me to blog more about, leave a comment and I'll write up an entry on that subject.

I'll start with my personal question... When we will find out for sure if we have gotten housing. I've gotten an e-mail confirming my housing request, and an e-mail containing a housing FAQ. I've also gotten a packet in the mail, but its just over 2 weeks before check-in and I don't know yet. (I know PIs are at Patterson, but itd be nice to know when I'll get check-in information and such.)

I'm loving your blog!! I'm super interested in anything relating to WDWPI's, especially personal experiences, etc. I applied last semester for Costuming/Workroom PI's since I'm majoring in Fashion Merchandising but didn't ever hear anything back I'll be applying again for the next semester with hopefully better luck!

Congrats on your IT WDWPI, I look forward to reading more

I'm not sure when you find out if you got housing... but check-in will be the day they told you when they made the offer.

For example, I just did a PI in Spring... my offer date was Friday, January 9th and that's when we checked in/moved in. The next day was traditions (if needed), and then I started at my location on Sunday the 11th.

About two weeks before my start date I was contacted by my location and that is when I received my schedule and other information specific to my role.
