Products that are gone but not forgotten.

I used to eat a ton of this chocolate bar that was really thick, and in blocks, but was whipped with the little air bubbles in it. Anyone know what it was called? I would love to see if I could find it again.

Wispa (Aero bar is similar but flatter). Cadbury makes them and I believe they were brought back by popular demand in the U.K. I wish they would here!

I also miss Olevatine (sp?) chocolate bars they rocked.

And McDLT's. :hippie:

I loved that stuff!!!!!Is that the one that had the commercial "I liked it so much I told 2 friends, and so on, and so on, and so on."?

I believe what you are thinking of is a bar by Nestle called Mirage. We still have them up here in Canada. It is similar to Aero but thicker.

Root beer popsicles. I remember them as a kid, and have been craving them all Summer! Does any of the companies make them anymore?

I had a rootbeer twin pop this summer while camping at a state park, but it was just in a plain white wrapper, so no info. Check with Hershey's. I think they used to make the vanilla and rootbeer twin pops. I lived on them when I was pg. If you have Rita's Italian Ice around you, their rootbeer ice is almost, if not better, than a twin pop. Their vanilla ice is good too (the frozen dessert-not the rapper ).

I actually just googled Popsicle brand and emailed them to ask where they sell them, or if they make them anymore. But thanks! We don't have a Rita's, but we have Richie's slush inside another store, and they used to sell root beer slush, ugh. I can't win!

Does anyone remember the cookies called Magic Middles (I think) from Keebler? They were little shortbread cookies that had melty chocolatey middles. My best friend and I got over some tough teenage breakups with those cookies!

I remember Chicken Tonight, and the commercial.

I also remember Agree Shampoo. It's fun to go down memory lane.

Quisp Cereal
Two-T-Fruits fruit snacks
Tidal Wave gum
Rice Krispies that were frosted AND had marshmallows...YUM!
Dunkeroos....Dunk, dunk, dunkeroo!

emer- I remember Magic Middles!

I never heard of Jello 1-2-3--looked interesting though.
I do remember Kaboom cereal though- it was green and the big thing with my cousins was who could eat the most of it and have their crap become the greenest....it had so much dye in it that it came out the color it went in!!!

There's another shampoo brand that has started its way into oblivion: Pert. I've used it all my adult life and have found it harder to find in stores in recent years. Target stores here have stopped selling it and have given its shelf-space to newer ever expanding other "green bottle" shampoo brand.

What a blast! I used to use Agree! Forgot all about it though. I do miss Bonomo's Turkish Taffy. That was my favorite candy growing up.

Oh wow, Quisp was my FAVORITE!!!! I even told my DH about it with such longing, that he searched for it... and actually found it available at this site ( http://www.hometownfavorites.com/ )... and ordered some for my birthday a couple years ago!!! :goodvibes What a sweetie he is. ;)

You may find some of the other things mentioned here on that site. It features items in limited, or only regional, production.

Oh, and the Quisp was just as good as I remembered it! :thumbsup2

My DH uses Pert, and I'm happy to say that we have no trouble finding it here at Target and any other store we've ever looked for it. We generally buy it in giant size from BJs. I hope you're able to keep your supply going.

Just had bugles a couple weeks ago actually. Got them at one of the news shops at the airport in Baltimore.

That round bacon on the Arch Deluxe always creeped me out for some reason. :rotfl:

There was a grocery store in NC that carried Kaboom for the longest time. I never saw it anywhere else but there. So every year I would buy my sister a box for Christmas. She hated the stuff growing up. Guess that's why I always found it funny to buy it for her. ;)

Does anyone remember Regal Crown Sour Cherry candy?? I think that was the name. They were the BEST!!

Tickle deodorant!

Oh wow! I'd forgotten all about Tickle.

I can still smell Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific. I miss it so much. And Space Food Sticks - the caramel kind were yummy (at least to me, as a kid).

I loved Wella Balsam shampoo.

How about Yardley cosmetics? My older cousin had the white lipstick. We thought she was so mod!

This is probably regional but my mom & I loved the Reggie bars back in either the late 70's or early 80's.

I loved the Reggie bars, too! I went to Reggie Day at Yankee Stadium a few yersa back(mid 90s) and they gave out Reggie bars.

I miss Fudgetown cookies. Ha, I just looked them up and saw they have a Facebook page for fans of Fudgetown. I joined.:thumbsup2

I also loved these smiley face cookies-not Giggles, these were either chocolate or vanilla, not sandwich cookies, and had a smiley face on each. I can't remember the name.
