Processional Package at Epcot

We are coming the first week of Dec. for the first time. I have a few questions about the candlelight dinner package. Do we really need one if we plan on going Sunday, Dec. 2, or Monday, Dec. 3? If we need one, we are interested in San Miguel which is a tier 2 for 36.99. What do we get for the 36.99? Does that let us have anything we want from the menu? Or is there a special menu for the package. If I wanted to order a birthday cake for after the meal, could we still do that also? Do the waiters sing happy birthday if we order the cake?

Do you mean December THIS year? We booked our CP dinner package back in August. Have you tried to call to see if ANYTHING at all is available? You may be very limited to which restaurants are left, and you may not get much of a choice of shows-again, whatever is left. Try calling Disney Dining right away, and see if you can even get in anywhere. I thank God that I found the Disboards early enough to find out about all of this stuff in plenty of time in order to not be shut out. Good luck to you! Go call......

Try to call back. My DD is performing on December 12 and I called to get a package. I was so upset that there was nothing available. The next day I decided to try again. Everything was available. We had our pick of every restaurant for anytime we wanted. I just made the ADR last Wednesday. Our party is for 6 people and I also inquired for 8.

When I asked why everything had been booked the day before, the CM told me that there is an additional screen which they must pull down and that some CM's are forgetting to do this.
